When Mike was preparing to run his first Spartan Ultra he reached out to some elites to see who else would be there. Joe Rucco explained that he was going to miss it in order to take on Toughest Mudder Atlanta … well, he won it!
We have had him on the show a few times in the past ranging from hybrid racing to World’s Toughest Mudder and Spartan Stadium races but we never had him on for his own episode so we reached out to change that!
You’ll hear him talk about how he found the sport back in 2012, his love for both hybrid racing and OCR, how he balances his family life and training, winning Toughest Mudder Atlanta, a slight injury he recieved from a local race the weekend after, some events he has planned before World’s Toughest Mudder at Belvoir Castle, and much more!
