With all of the big changes that Spartan has announced regarding the combining of elite and age group waves (if you aren’t all caught up there is a great Q and A here) we figured that it would be good to have an athlete on the show who has strattled the line of age group and elite over the years.
We have been wanting to have Cole DeRosa on the show for a while since he is a pretty big name in the competitive community and seems like a genuinely good guy when heard on other shows over the years like I Am A Spartan Podcast in 2019 and The Running Public in 2020!
We discuss his background in the sport of OCR, his extensive military service, thoughts on competition and staying in shape, Spartan Race changes over the years including the changes to the age group system for next year, and more!
