Spartan announced that Big White Mountain in Kelowna, Canada would be the site of the 2022 North American Championship race. This is the first time in the seven-year history of the race that it will be held outside of the United States.
The North American Championship race will be on a Beast-length course with 30 obstacles over the 21 kilometers of mountainous terrain. The race will take place on August 27th at the Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna, British Columbia.
In a statement, Spartan CEO Joe DeSena said “We are excited to finally bring the championships to Canada. We’re putting together an epic course that will push our athletes to their limits. The terrain is no joke. But Spartans are used to a challenge — the question is, who wants it most?”
