Kris Mendoza is one of the seven men to run 100 miles or more at World’s Toughest Mudder. Kris is coming off his biggest Tough Mudder win ever, a 45-mile performance at the eight-hour Toughest Mudder in Norcal last month.

Kris passes along advice he received from the 2016 WTM Champ Trevor Cichosz. “The race doesn’t begin until midnight.” Spend the first 12 hours of the race running your own race and not worrying about what place everyone else is in. Don’t burn yourself out early. Once midnight hits is when the racing happens.
